Women In Automotive® (“WIA”) is an organization committed to supporting and empowering women in all aspects of the automotive industry, and aims to serve as a stepping stone for the greater growth of women in automotive leadership roles. WIA is set to host a regional social meet up in Kansas City on March 6, 2024. VINCUE along with NCM and Chicks in Charge are proud to sponsor this event and celebrate keynote speaker Ashley Negron, Office Manager for Roper Kia in Joplin, Missouri.

The automotive industry has a long-standing reputation as a male-dominated field, but it has seen remarkable shifts in recent years. Women are not only making their mark as decision makers in the dealership, but are also increasingly taking the wheel in shaping the industry itself. In Kansas City, on March 6th, a special event is poised to celebrate and inspire women in the automotive sector: the Women In Automotive social event.

The March 6 event is expected to draw up to 60 women to the Kansas City Plaza area. Our keynote speaker is Ashley Negron. Ashley represents the up and coming generation of women in management positions in dealerships. Ashley is the office manager at Roper Kia in Joplin, Missouri. Ashley will share her story and discuss ways for women to inspire and empower each other.

The event will feature a panel discussion with women powerhouses who have leadership roles in dealerships and companies who support the dealership body. Their collective efforts are designed around helping dealerships succeed. Joining Ashley Negron on the panel is:

  • Angela Rizzo, CMO VINCUE
  • Robin Wilson, CEO SCP and Epic BDC
  • Shasta Haddock, COO Chicks in Charge
  • Brandiss Drummer SVP at NCM
  • Fleming Ford, Director Business Talent Solutions at NCM
  • And moderator, Jessica Burkhart, CMO Chicks in Charge.

Topics include career development, overcoming challenges, and uniting and supporting other women in automotive. Through interactive discussion and practical advice, attendees will gain valuable insights that they can apply to their professional lives.

One of the most significant benefits of the Women In Automotive event is the opportunity for mentorship and networking. Attendees will have the chance to connect with seasoned professionals, potential mentors, and like-minded peers who share their passion for the automotive industry. These connections can be invaluable for career growth, providing guidance, support, and access to opportunities that may not have been available otherwise.

The Women In Automotive event celebrates the diverse talents, perspectives, and contributions of women in the automotive industry. By coming together to celebrate inclusion, attendees send a powerful message that women belong in every aspect of the automotive world, from the dealership sales floor to the boardroom. Embracing inclusion isn’t just the right thing to do; it’s also a strategic imperative for driving innovation and driving change.

Beyond the professional benefits, the Women In Automotive event provides a sense of community and belonging for women in the industry. By coming together to share experiences, challenges, and successes, attendees build a support network that can sustain them through the ups and downs of their careers. This sense of camaraderie empowers women to lift each other up, champion each other’s achievements, and create a more inclusive and supportive automotive industry for all.

In conclusion, the Women In Automotive meetup in Kansas City on March 6th is a celebration of women’s achievements, a source of inspiration and empowerment, and a catalyst for change in the automotive industry. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or just starting out in your career, this event offers something for everyone. So mark your calendars, and join us as we drive forward together towards a brighter, more inclusive future for women in automotive.

Our Dealers Can’t Stay Quiet on Google

Launched VINCUE a couple months ago for our dealership as we were previously on vAuto. We love the pricing, software, and the support team is engaging with a lot of new features coming. It was a GREAT decision to switch from vAuto to VINCUE and we are very happy with the new software and support team.

New to the VINCUE family, and I’m very impressed with the immediate support provided by the team. Charlie Basham has been a key factor in getting the dealership started on a great path with the VINCUE system. He has been very responsive to my questions and has made sure I can navigate the key reports and understand the process used. Cheyenne Currier has also been very responsive with merchandising uploads needed by the dealership. I look forward to working with the VINCUE Team in the future.

Was previously with another provider for 16 years but now have been with VINCUE for 6 months and I absolutely love it and would never go back to my old provider. Even if you’re not considering making any changes right now, this is one I would look into and you won’t regret it! What I realized is how behind the times my previous provider is and I didn’t even realize it until I learned about VINCUE!
