THE CHALLENGE

The processes at Feldman Imports were not streamlined or efficient, specifically when adding descriptions on vehicles. This was taking managers off the floor and kept them from helping customers and other employees.

THE SOLUTION: Utilizing VINCUE End-to-End Inventory Management

VINCUE provided Feldman Imports with a unified platform that combined market pricing insights, real-time appraisal tools, and advanced acquisition options. Feldman Imports implemented VINCUE data-driven insights to help with more accurate pricing adjustments, assess market demand more accurately, and monitor the performance of their inventory more effectively. VINCUE has given their managers time back to spend with customers and their people. 

They had used other vendors but the biggest issue was that they have never been as efficient and streamlined as they are with VINCUE. They felt that they had performance managers that really didn’t understand the data. The driving factor in changing was vehicle descriptions. Used car managers spend a lot of time and energy building them and VINCUE gives the descriptions without having to manually enter them. It took 20-30 minutes using the old way, using VINCUE they got it down to under a few minutes. 

RESULTS

Streamlined the Vehicle Description Process
Before this a manager would have to go into possibly 2 to 3 different systems to get the information. They would then have to manually or even click to enter it into the previous system. Cut the time to Appraise by 50%
By having an easy to use, robust end to end appraisal process Feldman was able to save 50% of the time it took to appraise a vehicle and get it ready for retail versus their old process with 2-3 different platforms that they would have to gather data from to make informed decisions. They now know what the vehicle has in terms of equipment, whether off brand or their flagship Mercedes-Benz units.

More Than Doubled Purchasing Efficiency
With VINCUE Vehicle Buying Center (VBC), Feldman has been able to make informed acquisition decisions and proactively source high-demand vehicles, minimizing the risk of overstocking slow-moving models. Setting purchasing goals and having historical sales data in VINCUE has allowed them to acquire more units easier with a higher profit per unit. Also, allowing for them to speed up the process between acquisition to retail.

IMPACT

VINCUE transformed Feldman’s ability to appraise, stock, and merchandise their units quickly and easily, saving their team time and allowing them to concentrate on customers and their employees while increasing profits and decreasing turn time.
