VINCUE Vehicle Exchange Network: Dealer-to-Dealer Wholesale

Published On: October 8th, 2026Categories: Technology

Wholesale still starts with “Who should I talk to?”

Wholesale trade between dealers still runs on phone calls and personal relationships. A used car manager who needs a specific unit cannot see which stores are willing to sell it. They do not know who handles wholesale at those stores, and there is no shared record of inventory condition.

A manager sitting on an aged unit has the reverse problem. The quickest exit is often the auction lane, even when another store wants that exact car.

So dealers worked the phones, or hit the block

Dealers called around, leaned on personal relationships, checked auction sites, or sent it to the block. Condition was passed along by voice or a few texted photos. Every first call still started with, “Who should I talk to?”

The cost showed up in auction fees, transport to and from the lane, and the days a vehicle sat unsold while the exit was arranged.

Wholesale, right next to the work you already do

The best home for a vehicle is not always your lot. Sometimes it is another store in another state that has been looking for that exact unit or one down the street. Vehicle Exchange Network will help you find that store and close the deal without leaving VINCUE, right alongside the appraisal, pricing, inventory, and stocking decisions you already make there.

Every VINCUE dealer will be on the network by default. Here is how a deal will move.

  • Sellers choose which units to show, vehicle by vehicle, to their dealer group or to the full network.

  • Buyers browse and filter live units, with suggested trade partners and vehicles pulled from VINCUE data.

  • Before reaching out, buyers look up each store’s wholesale contact, so the first call lands with the right person.
  • Buyers send a structured inquiry on a specific vehicle, and the seller manages interest in the platform.
  • Condition is documented, not described. A condition and disclosure card is generated automatically from the seller’s existing vehicle appraisal and recon data in VINCUE, so both sides start from the same facts before anyone talks price.
  • Offers, counters, acceptances, and declines move through a structured workflow with full history, so both sides always know where the deal stands and nobody debates later what was agreed.
  • When the deal closes, shipping is arranged inside the platform through integrated partners, including AHX.

What your store will get back

The biggest change will be the exit. A wholesale channel that is not the lane means you can move a vehicle to another store without auction transport, a buy fee, or days waiting for a sale date. And because it all sits inside VINCUE, alongside your dealership inventory management and pricing work, there is nothing new to log into. Buying from private sellers instead? VINCUE + DealNow will bring private-party acquisition into the same workflow.

No double entry: it runs on data you already have

Vehicle Exchange Network will not be a marketplace bolted onto your workflow. It will run on the appraisal, recon, inventory, and market data VINCUE already holds. That is why the condition card will write itself.

A separate wholesale platform asks dealers to enter the same information twice. Vehicle Exchange Network will not.

FAQ’S

Every current VINCUE dealer, and each one is already live on the network. To start, name a wholesale contact and choose which vehicles to show.
Yes. Sellers pick which units to display and who can view them, either the dealer group or the full network, one vehicle at a time.
The process stays inside VINCUE. Buyers send inquiries on specific vehicles, sellers handle interest in the platform, and offers, counters, and acceptances stay in one record instead of being spread across calls and texts.
The condition and disclosure card is generated from the seller’s existing appraisal and recon data in VINCUE, so both dealers begin with the same facts.
Dealers can move the vehicle without the usual auction lane process by arranging transport through integrated shipping.

Our Dealers Can’t Stay Quiet on Google

Launched VINCUE a couple months ago for our dealership as we were previously on vAuto. We love the pricing, software, and the support team is engaging with a lot of new features coming. It was a GREAT decision to switch from vAuto to VINCUE and we are very happy with the new software and support team.

New to the VINCUE family, and I’m very impressed with the immediate support provided by the team. Charlie Basham has been a key factor in getting the dealership started on a great path with the VINCUE system. He has been very responsive to my questions and has made sure I can navigate the key reports and understand the process used. Cheyenne Currier has also been very responsive with merchandising uploads needed by the dealership. I look forward to working with the VINCUE Team in the future.

Was previously with another provider for 16 years but now have been with VINCUE for 6 months and I absolutely love it and would never go back to my old provider. Even if you’re not considering making any changes right now, this is one I would look into and you won’t regret it! What I realized is how behind the times my previous provider is and I didn’t even realize it until I learned about VINCUE!
