Since its inception in 1980, the National Association of Minority Automobile Dealers (NAMAD) has been at the forefront of advocating for diversity and inclusion within the automotive industry. They have collaborated with policymakers and manufacturers to support minority entrepreneurs and employees, aiming to increase minority-owned dealerships, advocate for diversity in automotive manufacturing, and foster minority participation in retail and service sectors.
