VINCUE Launches the First Inventory Management Certification on RockED
The best inventory strategies in the country used to live inside the heads of a small group of dealers. Until now.
VINCUE partnered with RockED, the automotive industry’s leading performance development platform, late last year. Now, that partnership is delivering something new: the Inventory Management Industry Certification, the only inventory management certification on RockED, built and taught by VINCUE, and available to every dealer, on every platform, in every market.
If you’re a general manager, sales manager, or anyone accountable for inventory results, this program was built for you.
What Is RockED?
RockED is the premier people development platform for the automotive industry, trusted by 11,000+ dealers and 80,000+ learners. It’s where the industry goes to onboard faster, develop managers, and build A-Players, through bite-sized, mobile-first training that fits into the flow of real dealership work. RockED has issued over 25,000 industry certifications to date across sales, service, leadership, and now, inventory management.
Why This Certification Exists
Dealership teams have always learned inventory management the hard way, fragmented, on-the-job, inconsistent across roles and locations. The strategies behind the best-run stores in the country were never written down. Never shared. Meanwhile, as inventory decisions become more data-driven, the gap between high-performing and underperforming dealerships keeps growing.
That’s not good enough.
VINCUE spent thousands of hours working alongside dealers from across the country, on real lots, working real deals, obsessing over what actually works across inventory planning, acquisition, management, and sales. This certification exists to make those standards accessible to everyone, because when more dealers get better, the industry gets stronger.
“The best practices behind great inventory performance shouldn’t be kept inside a handful of top dealerships,” said Michael Hopkins, Chief Marketing Officer at VINCUE. “This certification helps make the standards used by elite operators accessible to the entire industry.”
What the Certification Covers
The Inventory Management Industry Certification is structured around four learning journeys, the complete vehicle lifecycle from first decision to final sale:
To earn the certification, learners must complete all four journeys and pass a certification exam with an 80% or higher score. Certificates are co-signed by Danny Zaslavsky, Co-Founder and President of VINCUE, and are valid for 60 days. And because inventory management isn’t static, VINCUE and RockED will update the certification annually, so the credential stays current with new trends and the latest data.
“Inventory management is an important area of dealership operations that often varies across dealerships,” said Matthias Stoever, Co-Founder and CEO of RockED. “By completing this certification, teams gain a consistent foundation and the confidence to make better, more informed decisions.”
Built for the Whole Industry — Not Just VINCUE Dealers
This certification is vendor-agnostic. It doesn’t matter what platform your store runs on. The framework, Plan, Buy, Manage, Sell, is built around universal inventory principles drawn from real dealer performance data. Any GM, sales manager, or operator who wants to close the gap between where their store is and where the best stores operate can start here.
As Danny Zaslavsky puts it in the certification’s opening: “The future of inventory management is unified vehicle lifecycle management — from acquisition to exit and every decision in between.” That’s not a tagline. It’s the framework this certification is built on.
Available Now on RockED
The VINCUE Inventory Management Industry Certification is live on the RockED platform now. VINCUE is the only inventory management certification on RockED, making this the definitive industry standard for how dealership teams learn, practice, and prove their inventory expertise.

Our Dealers Can’t Stay Quiet on Google

Launched VINCUE a couple months ago for our dealership as we were previously on vAuto. We love the pricing, software, and the support team is engaging with a lot of new features coming. It was a GREAT decision to switch from vAuto to VINCUE and we are very happy with the new software and support team.

New to the VINCUE family, and I’m very impressed with the immediate support provided by the team. Charlie Basham has been a key factor in getting the dealership started on a great path with the VINCUE system. He has been very responsive to my questions and has made sure I can navigate the key reports and understand the process used. Cheyenne Currier has also been very responsive with merchandising uploads needed by the dealership. I look forward to working with the VINCUE Team in the future.

Was previously with another provider for 16 years but now have been with VINCUE for 6 months and I absolutely love it and would never go back to my old provider. Even if you’re not considering making any changes right now, this is one I would look into and you won’t regret it! What I realized is how behind the times my previous provider is and I didn’t even realize it until I learned about VINCUE!
