The Challenge

South Dade Auto Group, which operates three stores, was struggling with inefficiencies in its used-vehicle operations. The team was experiencing a slow inventory turn rate of about 8 times per year, and vehicles were taking anywhere from 8 to 10 days, sometimes up to 30, to become sale-ready.

These delays were largely due to a lack of visibility and communication across departments like the BDC, service, and sales. Their appraisal process was fragmented and required toggling between multiple platforms, while getting vehicles listed online took extra time because photos had to be manually staged and edited for quality.

The solution

To streamline operations, South Dade implemented VINCUE’s Vehicle Lifecycle platform. By integrating Rapid Recon, they significantly reduced the time it took to get vehicles front-line ready. Their time-to-line dropped dramatically from roughly 10 days to just 3.6.
